august 8, 2017

See instructions and submission links below for two categories of conference submissions.

Peer-reviewed papers
Double-blind reviewed and published in the citable conference proceedings. These papers will be presented orally or as posters.

Contributions such as individual presentations, debates, discussion forums, team case studies, and mini-workshops are included in this category.

See also Key Dates & Calendar.

Peer-reviewed Papers

"Best paper" and "best poster" awards will be given. Authors of high-quality papers will be invited to expand their manuscripts for submission to the Journal of Building Performance Simulation.

Paper templates (required):

Please note:

Final "camera-ready" manuscripts of accepted papers: May 10, 2017 (sooner recommended)

The second type of conference contribution includes a range of session types and is not accompanied by a paper. These sessions provide opportunities for practitioners to report on their work, for researchers to present compelling late-breaking findings, and for all participants to engage in discussions about the building modeling field. Presentation/session proposals can be 15-90 minutes in length and can cover a broad range of relevant topics. Creativity in presentation format and audience engagement is strongly encouraged.

Limit on Number of Presentations

A single person may not make more than three oral or poster presentations (including both peer-reviewed papers and other non-paper sessions). An additional registration fee may apply for people presenting more than once; see registration webpage. Each presentation must be made by a (co-)author, unless there is an exceptional circumstance. Peer-reviewed papers will be included in the conference proceedings only if presented.
